S-W Herefords was formed in 2008 with Neal Spencer and Ryan Westbrook coming together to build a registered program that will work economically and practically for the purebred Hereford and commercial breeder.
Our genetic base comes from some of the top Hereford breeders in the country, anchored by CL1 Dominette 200M. Females purchased from the Biebers, and Ned and Jan Ward further compliment the program. A collaborator relationship has been established with a producer in SW Oklahoma. By accessing the right bulls, and with Trans Ova coordinating the IVF program, it our intent to develop a calving program that builds upon our genetic base and results in the kind of heifers and bulls that will meet the demands of today’s breeders.
The S-W is a proud supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, as Neal and Patti’s grand children (Lainey and Graeme) have CF. We will continue to be advocates for CF and it is our hope that a cure is near. Support can be given to the CF foundation at www.cff.org.
